01. Timetable Task

Microsoft Word timetable task

Students need to be aware that their timetable needs to be formatted exactly like the one below.

 

Step1. Create the Word TimeTable

Above is an example of the timetable you are going to reproduce using your own timetable. You need to address the bullet points below in order to complete the task successfully.

  • To insert a table go to Insert, then go to Table then Insert Table and 
    • Enter 10 columns and 10 rows.
    • Fixed Column Width: 1.54cm
  • The Font & size is Calibri 8pt.
  • Maximum 8 characters per cell.
  • Days, recess and lunch are in bold and filled in grey.
  • All information is centred
  • Each subject needs to be colour coordinated like above.


Step 2. Save Document as Timetable in your M:\ Drive

  • Go to M:\ Drive
  • Create a Folder: 2016
  • Create a Subfolder 5COM
  • Save your Word Document into this folder and call it Timetable


Step 3. Print in Colour

Students print in colour to the JRC Colour printer.

Cut and folder the timetable into two.


Step 4.  Laminate Timetable

Teacher will create a batch of timetables in the Laminating Pouches / Sleeves and puts it through the Laminator.

Ensure

  • Heated to correct temp
  • Insert Sealed Edge first into Laminator
