You will be asked to individually or in pairs prepare and deliver the following topics:

  • Type of Coding Errors: 
    Before we commence examining techniques for correcting coding errors, we need to understand the different types of errors that commonly occur. Remember we are discussing coding errors. There are other sources of errors, which are not caused by faulty code.

    Errors or defects that cause software to malfunction in some way are called bugs.
    Debugging is the process of identifying and correcting bugs. 
    In this section we consider some commonly used techniques used to assist in the debugging process
